Subsequently, Clipchamp was included in the Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscription plans. Recently, Microsoft expanded Clipchamp to the Microsoft 365 Business plan and added the ability to import video clips from Xbox consoles.

In the latest update on the Microsoft 365 Insider blog, Microsoft outlined some new features that have been recently added or will be added to Clipchamp. One of the new features is "Auto Creations," and the Clipchamp website provides more information about this AI feature:
Simply upload your photos and videos, choose a video style, and let our AI create a professional-looking video that turns your life events, travels, or holiday memories into eye-catching videos on social media.

IT Home noticed that Clipchamp has also added a content library tab, which helps users find materials from free and paid libraries and add them to their videos. The tab includes currently popular and recently used content, as well as content categorized by category. Users can also enter specific content they want to find, such as holiday-themed videos, images, or audio clips.

Starting from early December, Microsoft has begun rolling out a new feature for personal accounts that allows Clipchamp users to record up to 30 minutes of video audio narration. The blog points out two advantages this feature brings to users: "Creating narration and adding automatic subtitles is much faster than creating text from scratch. With a separate narration track, you can update and edit the narration without editing the entire video."

Lastly, personal account users can now use AI-based text-to-speech functionality for voiceovers, and users can also change the language, voice, emotion, and tone of the AI voice within the application. This feature will be added to Microsoft business accounts in early 2024.
